- Let them know that you are anticipating seeing them again. Try writing something along the
lines of, “I’m counting down the seconds until I see you again.”
- Be as mushy as you feel comfortable with. Just remember: Shakespeare is legendary!
- Add a romantic memory and express how you are looking forward to having many, many
more. (That kiss we shared at the lake was fantastic. Let’s do that again soon!)
- End with a sweet goodbye. (“All my love”, “Yours forever”, “Love Always”, etc.)
A few extra tips for writing a romantic love letter are;
- Write on special paper. (Paper with a rose or a sunset can be purchased at most office
supply stores)
- Write your letter by hand. (Handwritten notes are more personal and romantic.)
- Use a fine point pen with black ink. Using black ink looks classic and the fine point is easier
to read and doesn’t clump.
- Use a nice envelope if available and a pretty stamp. (The flag is very patriotic, but not very
romantic)
- Spray the letter with your perfume or cologne. Smells bring back floods of memories. (Just
don’t over do it!)
