Meeting the right person

When looking for someone, it can seem like you are searching forever. But don’t give up.
Somewhere out there is that person you have been waiting for, and they can’t wait to meet you
either! Below are some suggestions on how to make sure you find the person who is right for you:

Try making a list of things that are non-negotiable such as:
  • Treats me with great respect
  • Try’s his/her best to make my life happier
  • Open minded
  • Constantly trying to better themselves
  • Looks for the good in everything
  • Has good morals and values

When you think you might have met someone, keep a rough idea of what kind of person you
were looking for.

Here are some tips to help you:
  • See what they are looking for. Are they looking for marriage? A summer fling?
  • Be clear about what you want and what they want out of life.
  • If there are some big things that bother you that you are hoping marriage will change,
    please think that through carefully. It’s nice to think that we can all change and grow, but
    you shouldn’t expect that.
